Do your part at a Disney Theme Park. If you drop some litter pick it up and throw it in the trash.

Want to meet up with some other Disney fans while on your next trip to the parks? Visit www.thedpn.com and post when you will be there and plan a meet and greet of your own.

Do you carry around a heavy, bulky camera to the theme parks? On your next trip try to take a simple point and shoot camera that can fit in your pocket. You might just come to realize its more important to enjoy your family and focus on them, instead of stressing about getting the perfect shot of every detail.

Want to spread some of that Disney Magic around on your next visit to the parks? Stop by any fastpass machine and grab as many fastpass as you can and when the time comes around to ride the attraction give them to a family that is about to wait in the stand by line. The smiles will be well worth it.

Like to take photos at the Disney Theme Parks? Next time you take a photo in front of one of the park icons instead of trying to get all of the icon into the photo zoom in on the people. You can take a photo of the icon but remember the great times by including the people.

First time to visit a Disney Theme park? If so stop by City Hall and pick up a "First Visit" button.

Going to Walt Disney World this summer and planning on going to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Buy an underwater disposable camera for some great and very unique photos. These will be fun photos for the scrape book for many years to come.

Summer is here and its going to get hot at the parks. Make sure and give your kids plenty of water. They get to the parks and seem to forget about  drinking plenty of water because of all the excitement. This could apply to some of the parents also so make sure all stay hydrated.

With summer here try and save the indoor shows for later in the day to take advantage of a much deserved sit down break and some nice cool air. Ride all the outside rides early in the day and later that night.

If you and someone in your party need to split up while at a Disney theme park try and choose a place other than the major icon at the park. Lets say if you are at Magic Kingdom pick something other than Cinderellas' Castle. If it is going to be later in the day around closing time choose a place closest the front of the park. The shops at the park entrance usually stay open up to an hour after the park closes.

Take your kids clothes for each day and pack them into a large zip lock bag. Place you child's name on the bag and if they are old enough to dress them self this will make it easier for them to get dressed each morning. If you have children that need to be dress this makes it easier for the parents. You can also take a spare set with you to the parks and store them easily in your bag or backpack. This way you have an extra set of clothes if they get the ones they have on dirty or play in any of the water features. You can use the zip lock bag to place the dirty or wet clothes in to keep all other things dry in your bag.

If you have never been to www.disneyphotopass.com stop by and check it out. You can now order any of the photos that are taken at the parks using your photopass. They keep your photos for 30 days from the day the photo was taken, not from your last day of vacation. You can upload your own photos and build a scape book on the website. They are very nice albums and well worth the money. Best of all they are much easier than making your own. So stop by and look for yourself.

To avoid crowds at meal time, try eating at off times. Instead of eating between say 11am and noon, try holding off until one or one thirty. By the way, this is great time hit some rides instead, because the lines tend to be a little shorter. Ride lines tend to be a little shorter during the parades, the fireworks and Fantasmic as well. Thanks Ron for the tip.

Staying with the Summer theme from last week. Be sure to use sun screen. I know you spend a lot of time in attractions and shows but you will spend plenty of time out in the sun. Be sure to reapply half way through the day, because sweat and water rides will take it off. Wear a wide brim hat to keep the sun off your face and ears. Don't forget to apply sun screen to your face for you can get blistered by the reflection of the sun.

Summer is nearly on us so think about all the necessities for those hot days at the parks. Take some bottled water and when it is empty just stop by a water fountain for a free refill. If the taste of the water is not for you pick up some of the individual packs of kool-aid or crystal light. This will give the water a much better taste. The tip is to just stay hydrated.

When you go to any Disney park you are going to walk and walk a lot, so it makes sense to wear some comfortable walking shoes along with some cushioned socks. The last time I went to Disneyland I made the Mistake of wearing only flip flops. By the time my family and I left that night, I had blisters all over my feet. Thanks Ron for the tip.

Does your whole family have cell phones? If you answered no then this tip is for you. Get yourself some two way radios. The ones you can buy these days a inexpensive and have good range. Most have multiple channels and rechargeable batteries. These are great for the kids that are old enough to go out on their own. It is hard at the Disney Parks to meet somewhere at a certain time without being late. These two way radios provide you to have contact with the others in your party at all times.

When you go to the parks with kids, always take an extra set of clothing. There are places in each of the Theme Parks were kids can play in the water. This is a great place for them to cool off during the hot season and allows the parents to take a much needed rest. Its also nice to have a large freezer bag to put the wet clothes into so the other items in your bag will stay dry.

We always think of bring or buying a poncho for our self to a Disney Park. But don't forget to buy a cover for the stroller before you leave. These come in real handy for those rain showers that always seem pop up when we are at the parks. If you don't have one you might take a small towel with you to wipe off the stroller if you do get caught in a rain shower. Some kids do not like to sit in a wet stroller seat.

Next time you are at one of the Disney Parks and get that hungry feeling. Stop and get a hot dog. On our last trip Kimberly's brother in law Dana had several hot dogs and said they were the best he ever had. So give them a try and let us know. If you have something you must eat each time you are their drop us an email and let us know. We just love the Mickey Bars, but who doesn't.

Always take advantage of Fastpass at the Disney parks and if you have a large group send just one member of your group to obtain the fastpasses. This will cut down on the number of people and make it that much easier for all. While someone is doing this go ahead and go to the next ride and get in line. The member of your party can caught up with you later.

Here is an easy way to carry all those quarters and pennies for the Penny Press Machines. Take an empty M&M's mini container and place two quarters and a penny then two quarters and a penny until the container is full. This is a real easy way to keep up with your change while in the parks. If you are traveling to Disney by plane place these containers in your check on luggage do not put in your carry on.

We all know that it always seem to rain while on vacation at Disney, so before you leave stop by your local store and buy rain gear. It will be more expensive if you wait to buy them from Disney. If you have a child that will be in a stroller, be sure and pick up a rain cover that is made for a stroller. It not only keeps your child dry and happy but also keeps any personal items from getting wet

We all know that Disney has some of the best parades in the world. So next time you are at one and want those great photos for the memories remember to find a place to set with the sun behind you this will make for much better pictures

If you are lucky enough to have a birthday will visiting Walt Disney World be sure and let someone at your resort know. Anytime you are having a meal let your waiter know. When you go to Magic Kingdom stop by City Hall and ask for a birthday button. If you are at Epcot or Animal Kingdom stop by Guest Relations and at Disney MGM Studios stop at Guest Services. Be sure and wear these buttons on your entire trip while you are there for the extra attention, it is well worth it.

Use your digital camera when you arrive at any of Disney's parking lots to take a picture of what section and row you parked at so you will have easy access to it at the end of the day when you are tired and ready to get back to the room for some much needed rest. Doug G

If you rent a stroller from one of the parks. Tie a balloon or a bright ribbon around the handle of the stroller. Sometimes when you return from a ride or show cast members will have rearranged the strollers and yours will be easy to pick out of the crowd.
